Dreaming: Written by Anochili Catherine and Thywill

Dreaming
I’m dreaming…
About us making footprints in the sands on the beach, plucking from the beach plums, rather than making prints on the sands of the Sahara.

I’m dreaming…
About us splashing in the water, getting wet and giggling, rather than getting wet in the bottom of the Atlantic.

I’m dreaming…
About us rolling in the hay, straws tangled in my hair, your hands all over my body as our feelings dissipate into thin air, rather than ungentle hands, stripping me off my clothing.

I’m dreaming…
About us playing poker, beer in hand, mixed with heavenly kisses…and a transcendental puff of smoke, rather than us playing Russian roulette.

I’m dreaming…
About us walking in the evenings without a stir of trees’ leaves, buried in the tranquilities of the young night, strolling hand in hand, basking in the moonlight, rather than us running through the woods, away from the howling of wolves and deadliest of ghouls.

I’m dreaming…
About us lying side by side on the bed, our pair of binoculars fixed at each other, lips in same position, with good music on the background, letting spontaneity take control of our helpless bodies, mind and soul.

I’m dreaming…
About these dreams not ending just as dreams. When we’d wake up one morning and not be on the run.
I’m dreaming😴
