Victoria, 2020

ChimeFrancis: Good day, our readers are eager to know you. Tell us about yourself.

Victoria: Hello everyone, I am Chizaram Victoria (Lady_vee_ver) a budding Lawyer, a Compere and a Content Creator.
I am a final year law student of the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus and I am from IMO state.

ChimeFrancis: Wow! So much in one person. Law, compere, and content creating. How have you been able to manage all three?

Victoria: Lol. Well, I started my journey as a Law student in the year 2015, discovered my passion for public speaking(anchoring) in the year 2017 when I first anchored a poetry Slam in Enugu and delved into Content creation in the earliest part of 2020.
So far I must say, Law is a super challenging course to study, it requires your time, focus and ability to remember things within a short span of time and combined with anchoring events, oh dear! Really demanding but we gotta do what we gotta do.
I started Content Creation this year and it’s been an exciting journey so far and I can’t wait to explore the untapped areas in this sector.
In summary, Whatever i put my mind too, I always follow through and this has helped me in my journey of trying to fashion out a balance of all three.

ChimeFrancis: How was your experience like the first time you anchored the poetry slam?

Victoria: Honestly, I was scared. I’ve always had stage fright and this made me think and over-think my duty as the anchor for 2 full days, before the Poetry Slam. However, on that day, I killed it lol. I knew I did cause I kept getting called and appreciated by people who were part of the audience, promising to call me to anchor one programme or the other, which some eventually did. I faced my fright and overcame it that day.

ChimeFrancis: So how did content creation find you?

Victoria: I realised I love the Tech industry, I became interested in animations videos which can be used in various forms eg marketing and I love passing value to people, through writing and use of videos.

I decided to read up these things I suddenly developed interest in and it brought me to content creation, that is creating and dishing value to brands ( business brands, blogs, YouTubers etc).

ChimeFrancis: How have you been able to hone the skill? Any projects on the way?

Victoria: Hehehe, I preferred to keep this a secret but oh well. As a content creator I organized a free Master Class for online entrepreneurs on building brand and harnessing Social media to generate massive sales on the 11th May 2020 and It was a huge success. I paid for the knowledge I currently possess but I chose to give out a part of it free because before money for me, comes value.

I plan to re-strategize and organize more classes in the nearest future, Partner with business brands on how to move their companies forward and of course Anchor more programmes and events alongside this.

ChimeFrancis: What would be your advice to those who are scare do multi tasking?

Victoria: Hmmm, first off understand how you function, if multi-tasking brings out the best in what you do or the opposite. If your answer is the former, start. Don’t wait on anybody or thing, invest in yourself and your craft. In as much as nothing good comes easy, whatever is worth doing is what doing well.

Good luck out there, wish me luck too lol.

ChimeFrancis: We hope to have another session with you. Thanks for accepting our offer.

Victoria: The pleasure is mine.
