AN INTERVIEW WITH THE CEO RIAS GIFT SHOP | ELIBE MIRIAM

I have always wanted to be an independent woman. I have always wanted to make my own money and that is one thing everyone around me knows and also a work from home person

CHIMEFRANCIS: Hello dear, our readers are eager to meet you. Tell us about yourself.

CAYLEE: I am Elibe Miriam, a final year student of mass communication in the University of Nigeria Nsukka.
I am from Oji River in Enugu state and also the current Miss Photogenic 020 of Face Of Classy Queen Nigeria.

CHIMEFRANCIS: Oh A pageant Queen, how has the experience been for you?

CAYLEE: It has not been easy to be honest. Especially with this lock down. Like I can’t go to the studio, so I don’t have official pictures yet and even my skin care shoot has been put on hold because of this same lock down but I’ve been getting a lot of favour and a change of mindset so it been a wonderful experience.

CHIMEFRANCIS: Great to hear! Aside being a Model. What other things are you into?

CAYLEE: I run my own surprise shop. I am planning on launching my own clothes shop together with a partner and I am an aspiring makeup influencer. I pray everything adds up in the mighty name of Jesus.

CHIMEFRANCIS: So what is your drive? How did you meet business and entrepreneurship?

CAYLEE: I have always wanted to be an independent woman. I have always wanted to make my own money and that is one thing everyone around knows and also a work from home person. I don’t like being stressed and I am a very spontaneous person. So I don’t think I could meet up with the demand of working for someone.
So I started thinking about my gifts and what I can do and, this is me and this what I know I would do well in and I’m very happy and fulfilled.

CHIMEFRANCIS: What was your first business experience like?

CAYLEE: My first business experience, I’m trying to remember the first one. The first one I can remember was when I was In Junior Secondary School. I wanted to sell the pack of peanut burger I actually bought for sale in school, I attended a boarding school but I ended up eating most of them.

CHIMEFRANCIS: Lol. Crazy I must say. So from the lessons learnt from the first business how did things go forward for you.

CAYLEE: I didn’t still know what I wanted but from how I visualize everything, I can’t remember the plan but I was supposed to be making money by my third year. when I wasn’t making money in my third year, I was angry, some things happened and now I’m exactly were I’m supposed to be. I know I’m going places though.

CHIMEFRANCIS: So what would you say is next for you as an entrepreneur?

CAYLEE: The next thing for me is working towards being one of Nigeria’s biggest make up influencer. I am giving myself two years to achieve this by the grace of God.

CHIMEFRANCIS: What is your advice to the next entrepreneur?

There is this joy that comes when you know you are hustling and you are getting close or you have reached your final destination

CAYLEE: What I would say as an entrepreneur is, first of all, it is not easy, you might be alone, you just have to console yourself with the fact that there would be plenty time and money for those things you missed out on before and if you know your goal and where you are headed, don’t sacrifice it for anything else. There is this joy that comes when you know you are hustling and you are getting close or you have reached your final destination. It is called pure bliss.

CHIMEFRANCIS: Great. How can our readers reach you?

CAYLEE: They can reach out to me on social media.
